ED 489/G B.E.S.T. ~ Building Effective Strategies for Teaching
Anntonette J.P. QuiambaoHello and Hafa Adai to all hardworking and dedicated educators, fellow colleagues and students,
About Me: I am currently a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Elementary Education from the University of Guam. Along my journey as a pre-service teacher, my interests and values have molded into serving the best interests of our students on Guam. With more growing knowledge and experience, teaching beyond the borders of the island is not a limited option. My heart belongs in the education field because our children deserve to be taught the truths and lessons that will enrich their day-to-day learning encounters. Moreover, I hope to instill in our students a positive outlook toward education, which can take any individual citizen far in life with the price of humility and freedom. |
LauraJean PerezAbout Me:
Hafa Adai! My name is LauraJean Perez. I currently have an AA in Education from the Guam Community College and am working towards receiving my BA in Elementary Education from the University of Guam - expecting to Student Teach in Spring 2016. Although I have no children of my own, I have been working with children for nearly ten years. I started as a Substitute Teacher in the Guam Department of Education. After a few years, I was convinced to change positions and became a Teacher's Assistant. I love working with children. It makes me genuinely happy each time I see that I have made a difference in their lives - no matter how big or how small. Being an educator, this happens every day and the students, as long as they are given the chance, never cease to amaze me. |
